Scuba Cancun is medium size, family run PADI FIVE STAR dive center and marina, owned and run by
Captain Luis Hurtado who has more than 55 years of diving experience in commercial, military and
sport scuba diving. He is the first scuba instructor to work in Cancun and he founded
Scuba Cancun in 1980. During this time he has taken many people on safe and exciting dives.
One Tank, Two Tank and Dive Packages available to certified divers only. Beginner
course available to EVERYONE!
Package 1: Two days of 2 tank dives in Cancun,
PLUS a third day of your choice of:
2 tank dive in Cozumel OR a 2 tank dive in a cavern.
Package 2:
Three days of 2 tank dives in 3 different locations:
2 Tank Cozumel, 2 Tank Cancun, 2 Tank cavern.

Prices are per person in US Dollars. MUST be a certified diver.
2 Tank Cancun Dive - $68 per person
45 - 80 ft. reefs, 10am everyday. Included: Equipment, dive master.
Wreck dive Wednesdays and Fridays, weather permitting, 85 ft. approx.
If you are not certified and want to try scuba diving, the Beginner Course is for you!
Beginner Course - $88 per person Includes: All equipment, theroy instruction by PADI Instructors, pool practice 1 tank session,
1 tank boat dive to a coral reef, 27 ft max., refreshments. 12 noon to 4pm everyday.
PADI Open Water Certifications
PADI Open Water Referral Dives - $215 per person You can do all the classroom work in your home town dive shop, then bring the referral letter and just do the dives here in Cancun.
4 dives to become PADI Certified Open Water. Includes: Equipment during the dives, Refreshments, Instructor, PIC Envelope.
PADI Open Water Certification - $410 per person PADI open water diver course is the # 1 certification course in the world and your certification
card is valid for the rest of you life. You can complete the PADI open water diver course
in 2 1/2 or 3 days. Includes: theory, pool practice, equipment during the course, four ocean dives,
written exams (very simple, multiple choice), log book, PADI Open Water Diver manual.
Prices do not include at $2 per person reef tax
30% deposit required for all local one and two tank dives
20% deposit required for all package dives or Cozumel dives.
Balance paid to marina on day of dive (US dollars, Mexican Pesos, Travelers Checks, MasterCard and Visa (service fee for credit cards)
